SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School is for ALL ages! We have a great children’s Sunday School hour with classrooms for children ages 3 years old – 5th Grade from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The children are learning about Jesus with the Gospel Project curriculum. Sunday School is family focused and we have great resources to help parents be the spiritual leader of their children.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Children’s Church is an engaging and fun-filled time during our 2nd service for kids in Kindergarten - 3rd Grade. Children begin the service in the sanctuary with their families and are dismissed after the songs and scripture reading to go to Room 119. Then, it’s a great time as they discover "What's in the Bible?" with activities, prayer, and music that focus on each lesson. Parents are asked to pick up children from Room 119 after the service.

NURSERY

Our nurseries are available during both services for infants to children 5 years old who have not begun Kindergarten. There are three nurseries (infant, toddler, & pre-school). During Sunday School there is one nursery for infants to 2 year olds. Children are checked in via our secure KidCheck system. If you have questions, please contact our nursery staff at nursery@northoak.net

VBS 2024
June 3-7 9am-12pm
Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Why do I need to be saved? Can I trust the Bible?

At this VBS, we explored the Biblical answers to these questions as we set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, Children sailed along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids discovered how these events shaped our world, and they learned to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life.

MINISTRY SAFE
All NOCC Staff have been trained by Ministry Safe and all volunteers that work with kids have been background checked. Programs that serve children and youth play a vital role in the lives of our children and in our community. Ministry programs help to develop each child’s intellectual, social, spiritual or physical capacity. As they serve, ministry leaders cannot forget their responsibility to safeguard each child, as well as those who serve them.
