Frequently Asked Questions

One of the remarkable things about NOCC is that we embrace diversity. We believe that God gives His people various gifts, talents, and passions. Therefore, corporate worship will often differ from one Sunday to the next. We have a variety of worship teams, including blended, entirely contemporary, and traditional. NOCC is a place where our unity is based on our shared love of Jesus and one another.

Our pastoral team is passionate about helping people understand the life-giving truths of God's Word and experiencing transformative change by following after Jesus. For that reason, our messages place the ultimate priority on explaining and applying a passage from the Bible. Usually, our messages take the time to explain the passage's background and show how it connects with other biblical truths. Most importantly, we focus on how God wants that truth to impact your life today.

North Oak offers many opportunities to dig deeper into your family and build relationships with other believers. We strongly encourage you to join one of our Sunday school classes (for adults and children of all ages). Our vibrant Small Group program is a fantastic way to explore your faith while building a community of close friendships. Additionally, we have multiple mid-week Bible studies for men and women. Please feel free to visit our Welcome Center in the Lobby, or sign up for our weekly e-newsletter to learn more.

A staffed nursery is available during both service times and Sunday School. Nursery facilities are located on-site. Our nursery workers have been screened and trained and love kids.

Children's Church is available during second service for kids ages 4 through 3rd grade.

Great, fun-filled Sunday School classes are offered for children beginning at 2 years of age.

Click here for more info on kids (preschool through 5th grade).

We also have a very active student ministry for Jr./Sr. high age teens, with classes on Sunday morning, Supper and Youth Group on Wednesday evenings and additional activities throughout the week.
