About Josh & His Family
Josh has an earned PhD in Biblical Studies (Midwestern Theological Seminary), as well as degrees in theology (ThM, Midwestern), pastoral ministry (MDiv, Grand Rapids Theological Seminary) counseling (MA, Cornerstone University). One of his greatest joys is explaining the Bible and showing how its truths apply to our lives. Josh is also an avid outdoorsman, who enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and motorcycling.
His wife Vanlalhmachhuani (aka "Amy") is a native of the Mizo hill tribe of northeast India. She has degrees in English and Religious Education. In addition to being highly involved at NOCC, she also serves as a part-time hospital chaplain and teaches reading skills to elementary children. She is passionate about helping women embrace their identity in Christ and finding encouragement in His beautiful promises. Together, Josh and Amy have three grown children and one grandchild.
