NOCC Men’s Ministry:

God has given men important leadership responsibilities, regardless of what the current culture says. God has place men as leaders of their marriages and families, as well as other arenas of life.

Sadly, more often than not, men have succumbed to the pressures of the culture and have not lived up to God’s expectations as “servant-leaders” in these all important areas of life.

We believe God has spoken and given us His plan for how He wants life to work. Our goal as a men’s ministry is to grow in understanding of God’s plan for men … what His expectations are for men, how we are to live out those expectations and the consequences of doing or not doing what He says.

Two studies for men are currently available to study these issues: Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 am; and Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm. These are opportunities for men to discover and be challenged by God’s Word, in the context of mutual friendships to the end that all will be encouraged to live life from God’s point of view.

Opportunities for men to enjoy God’s wonderful creation with their buddies include but are not limited to: LaSada Shooting clays outings, golf tournaments, motorcycle rides, and occasional seminars to PromiseKeepers and /or other seminars that challenge men to live life for God.

Men, we challenge you to take a risk and become part of group of men determined to become all that God wants us to be.
